So, Chris Cuomo faked an "out of isolation video" a little while ago, footage emerged from a few days ago of him getting into it with the mail man when he was supposed to be self-isolating. Despicable.

Hi everyone!! Hope each one of you guys are safe and sound where ever you live. Out here in Quebec, we practice social distension ( sorry if I don't say the word correctly ), and people over 70 are told to say inside when ever possible. That we do. Our prime ministers , both province and federal governments do press conferences every day to update the instructions and recommandations. But, like everybody else in the world, we have people dying every day. It's quite sad. Mainly, we juste hope for the best and believe that somehow, soon we will live better days.

I listened to Anderson Cooper's interview with the mayor of Las Vegas yesterday. She's in favor of opening casinos and the strip as soon as possible, so people could get back their jobs, and go on living normal lives. I couldn't believe what I heard from her. She seems to care more about money coming in than saving lives by staying away from possible infections. Mr. Cooper tried to make her listen to the good sense, but she wont give up on her own thoughts.

Just want to know how you guys feel about instructions given by health people. Even if I'm not american, I do care about some people living in this country, because I have so family members out there and also some friends. The president, in my humble opinion is not making a good job convincing america that this virus is very dangerous, and just want to blame everybody, except himself, for many errors committed.

I juste wanted to express an opinion here, and you have every rights not to feel the same way.

Take care everyone.

So, Colleges in the US are getting million dollar bail-outs from the tax man when the working people of the country suffer? Sounds about right. The president of Columbia University, a man whose net worth is in the tens of millions, just recieved a ten million dollar bail out for lost money due to the term time coming to an end. Cause who wants to help the people who actually need help, right?

This might be starting a war, but I think it's only right to mention it. Are we absaloutley sure that social distancing and other Government related guidelines are having a real effect? Eight states in the US have not introduced lock down advice and have not had any different results from states who are practicing social distancing etc. We don't have any evidence that this is actually stemming the outbreak, do we not? In Sweden, restaurants and the like have not shut down, and the cases have peaked, but they have faired far better than other nations who have locked down, like my native UK. Doesn't this go against everything we are being told?

Yes, it is having results that are a direct correlation to the social distancing, not based on just anecdotal reporting. I'd be interested to see your citation as it is entirely possible that those states have just not caught up to the rest of the country (or hadn't at the time of the report). Many are now seeing the outbreaks that the rest of the country had earlier.

Is school cancelled for the rest of the year in anyone else's states/countries? It's cancelled that long here but from what I've heard that was called by the governor and not the entire government
Ours as if right now are shut down until 4-30. Our Governor is having a press conference later today and I hope schools are part of what he will be discussing. I have no problem with school being online for the remainder of the year, I think it would be more disruptive to try to get everyone back into the daily at school routine at this point. But a decision needs to be made so school districts can then make decisions about graduations. I am pretty sure that is what our schools are waiting on.

Can't remember if I shared that seniors and parents were asked to do a survey about what we would want, in regard to graduation. We ranked the 3 choices
1) postpone to later date
2) virtual ceremony on originally scheduled date
3) cancel altogether
