If this silly nonsensical thread brought the esteemed OOO back, then it was well damn worth it..welcome sir..though I still can't imagine why SK would have a problem with us viewing his whereabouts with a microchipped map, given his wholehearted support of cell phones and the like..:tounge::grinning:

 Mr Nobody Your expression on this whole mess is Hilariousss and Brilliant! I was lmao about the SWAT team showing up at my door asking those questions and could clearly imagine it! The part about the refrigerator was hysterical! If you have a blog, I can imagine how delightfully funny it must be amidst the genius thoughts its wrapped up in! Excellent and brilliant post.
Thanks. I don't have a blog. I've thought about it, and I've been told that I really should (in addition to joining all the usual popular social media platforms), but I wonder where the time would come from. Besides, reading my rants and raves would get pretty wearing pretty quickly. I suppose I can be occasionally (and usually accidentally) funny, but I'm not the king of comedy. ;)

I own a Chevy too and I was wondering why their OnStar wasn't being used to locate them, that answers that question they didn't have it turned on.. What a gosh darn shame for those folks and their relatives.
So scary and tragic. I know people don't like this microchipping and I certainly wouldn't want it in me, but...there are vulnerable people out in the world, I'm totally seeing the good side of this issue. The bad looms too large.

I hear you DJ,there are a lot of good applications, but just like everything, people have to screw up a good idea..can you imagine that as one of the first things that hospitals do,as a child is born, automatically microchipped?and then for the rest of their life, all movement documented, stores visited, purchases monitored..it is getting scary, because the opt out of that will eventually disappear and it will just be standard practice and you are a freak if you refuse..

No, I get it. Man's inhumanity to man is alive and well and everyone is looking to be Big Brother. And I don't trust our government anymore to keep us safe.

I know you do..it is just scary how things are becoming common practice.A few weeks ago,I went to buy a few beers, and the clerk was insistent on seeing my ID.Usually I just say OK,here you go,but had just brought cash in the store, and telling her I was fifty three years old wasn't helping that much.Think about that, almost three times the legal age and was getting grief. She finally relented, but it was uncomfortable.I hate when they scan your license for alcohol purchases, why is that necessary?Where does that information go?When will scanning your license for EVERY purchase you make become de facto?

I do have tape over my camera! And I know some sort of algorhythm thingy is listening: the other day, Mark and I were talking about coffee. No computers on, no windows open, no phones on. Conversation wrapped up, I open my email and there's a notice: Pinterest suggesting some new posts for me, all about coffee, "based on your interests". I have nothing about coffee on my Pinterest board.

Your eye thing freaks me out. That's a person watching you, not just a computer!
