Princeton Reading November 16, 2016

As part of the Althea Ward Clark W’21 Reading Series, bestselling author Stephen King and writer Eileen Myles read from their work on Wednesday, November 16, at 4:30 p.m. in the Berlind Theatre at McCarter Theatre Center. The event is free, however tickets are required. Tickets will be available to the public beginning October 28th — more details will be posted at  their site  on that date.
Please note that King will not sign books following the reading, however presigned books (mixed titles) will be available for purchase.

 

The Cookie Jar on Audio

Update (3): We've heard from Amazon, and they'll be adding the other "Stephen King's" middle initial to all of his books going forward. They have additionally added the following message on each book: “Please Note: Amazon offers books by various authors named Stephen King. If you are looking for Stephen King, bestselling author of The Shining and The Stand, please visit his Amazon.com Author Page.”

Amazon has been deceptively marketing and selling books by some other "Stephen King" as the work of this Stephen King for several years. Despite innumerable requests from us to address this problem within their system, these books are still listed as authored by and associated with Stephen King, the author of Misery, Carrie, etc.

All of the books by this Stephen King can be found within The Library section of this website.

None of the following books are by this Stephen King. If you have been deceived and purchased one of these books, you should contact Amazon and demand your money be refunded.

Update: We've now heard from many people that Amazon is additionally email-marketing these other "Stephen King" books to people who have bought books by Stephen King in the past.

Update (2): We were notified that Barnes & Noble was also listing these books as authored by this Stephen King. We contacted Barnes & Noble, and they were able to resolve this in less than four hours. The other author is Stephen King (2), and is no longer associated with Stephen King.

Hearts in Suspension launch at UMaine

The University of Maine has announced they will host the launch of Stephen’s book,  Hearts in Suspension, on November 7 at the Collins Center for the Arts (Orono). Tickets are free and will be available first to members of the University of Maine community on Oct. 12-14, and to the general public (2 tickets per person) beginning October 17, 2016.

Hearts in Suspension is a primarily non-fiction book containing essays by King and twelve fellow students and friends about their experiences as students at the University of Maine. Also included are four installments of King’s student newspaper column, “King’s Garbage Truck,” and the novella “Hearts in Atlantis.”
