Following up on Neil Gaimain's interview in the (UK) Sunday Times mentioning a new novel to be titled Joyland about an amusement park serial killer, Stephen has given the thumbs up to officially report that this is indeed a work in progress that has been completed but will need to be edited.  There is no official publisher or publication date set at this time.  We will update you as more official news becomes available.

The Reaper's Image, Mile 81, N. & The Monkey Headed to the Big Screen

In the spirit of Creepshow and Cat's Eye, a new motion picture anthology directed by Mark Pavia has been officially announced. Stephen King's The Reapers Image will feature four short films including The Reapers Image, Mile 81, N., and The Monkey.
 
With two of the stories hand selected by Stephen and two selected by Mark, the project is a solid mix of classic and contemporary King tales sure to please the Constant Reader.

Stephen to Narrate the Audiobook Edition of Wind - Updated

The Simon & Schuster Audiobook edition of The Wind Through the Keyhole will be read by Stephen. With over a decade since his last audiobook reading, Stephen shares "I’ve spent a lot of time with the character of Roland Deschain and the Dark Tower universe over the years. Now that I am revisiting that world, it felt like a fine time to lend it my voice."

The full-length audiobook will also feature an exclusive audio preview for Doctor Sleep. (Doctor Sleep is the sequel to The Shining set to be published in 2013)
