Stephen to receive National Medal of Arts

In press releases from the White House and the National Endowment for the Arts, it was announced that Stephen is a 2014 recipient of the NEA's National Medal of Arts. He will be honored at a ceremony at the White House on September 10th which will be live streamed at 3 PM EST at WH.gov/Live.


Stephen to appear on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

It was formally announced that Stephen will be appearing on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" on September 11th. This is the premiere week for "The Late Show" since the departure of David Letterman. You can read more information about the premiere week guest list  here.


Stephen in Conversation with Lee Child

Stephen will be appearing in Cambridge, MA on September 9th in conversation with Lee Child to promote the new Jack Reacher novel, Make Me. Tickets will go on sale 8/11/15 through Harvard Book Store.

Marvel has granted StephenKing.com the first look at the next arc in The Dark Tower comic series. The Lady of Shadows kicks off September 9th and brings Odetta Holmes to the forefront of the ambitious series.

Robin Furth and Peter David continue their deep exploration of Mid-World with this progressive vision of the DT series. With world-class artists and a fresh take on the story, The Lady of Shadows is sure to please any Constant Reader that knows “there are other worlds than these.”
