Tickets for Stephen's appearance and book signing at the Fall for the Book Festival at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA on September 23, 2011, will be available on-line on August 15th. You must have a ticket to attend this event. Tickets can be reserved for free through the Center for the Arts Ticket Office beginning at 9 a.m. EST on Monday, August 15. Limit two tickets per request.

Sony Pictures Television and A&E will be airing a four hour mini-series based on Bag of Bones later this year. Filming of the series is set to begin early next month in Nova Scotia and will feature Pierce Brosnan in the lead role with Annabeth Gish supporting. Mick Garris will direct the production from a screenplay written by Matt Venne.
Update: Jason Priestley has signed on to play Mike Noonan's Literary Agent.
The dates and cities have been determined for the book tour to promote 11/22/63. Specific details for each venue are still being negotiated but we should have more information within the next few weeks.

After months of rumors and speculation regarding the fate of the Dark Tower Movies and Television Mini-Series, Universal Pictures has officially backed out of the production. An email sent from Stephen to Entertainment Weekly explains the current state of the production.

Jae Lee has signed on to illustrate Stephen's next Dark Tower book, The Wind Through the Keyhole, which will be published as a limited edition by Donald M. Grant Publisher. Stephen's new short story, "Under the Weather" (written just in the past month or two) will be included in the U.S. paperback edition and as a new e-book edition of Full Dark, No Stars which will be released on May 24, 2011. It will be in Hodder's ebook edition releasing on May 24th and their mass-market edition which will be released at the end of July.
The dust jacket artwork for 11/22/63 has been revealed and is now available at the link below. The design created by veteran digital artist Rex Bonomelli offers a glimpse into the epic tale that hits the shelves on November 8th 2011.
